Health Services (Nurse)

Kennett Consolidated School District (KCSD) is dedicated to the health and well-being of every child. Our nurses promote student health and safety, enhancing their ability to learn. Our goal is that every child enters the classroom in optimal physical and emotional health, prepared to achieve their personal best.

Please call your school nurse regarding any injuries, health problems, new medical diagnoses, prescription medications, and questions or concerns that may affect your child at school.

Important

In case of illness or injury, a student will be cared for temporarily by the school nurse or a member of the school staff. School personnel will render first aid treatment only.

If emergency medical treatment is necessary, the parents will be contacted. If parents are not available, the student will be taken to the emergency room at the hospital.

Remember, an emergency telephone number where parents or their designee can be reached and the name and telephone number of the student's family doctor must be on file at the school.

Go to the Skyward Family Access Portal to update your contact and emergency information.  You can also update any medical information on the portal.
