Empty Bowls is an international project to help fight hunger. Third and fourth grade students at Greenwood Elementary School made bowls to donate for this special cause. The money raised by this auction event benefits the Kennett Food Cupboard. Through the collaboration of local businesses and chefs a simple meal of fresh soup, salad, and bread is served at the annual “Empty Bowls” lunch or dinner. Participants also take home an empty bowl to remind them of the people they are helping by supporting this event.
Tickets are $30.
