Technology
All students will receive a school issued Chromebook that will meet all of the educational needs in the classroom. There are times that the chromebooks will go home each night with the students, especially during winter months when the weather can be dangerous.
We offer a complete Technology section at the District website that offers details for families and technology use and support, including:
- KCSD Technology Users Guide
- Technology support for elementary and secondary students
- Technology Q and A
- Skyward, Schoology, TalkingPoints and other communication and learning platforms
- Technology policies and forms
Please go to the Technology section at the District website to review this valuable support information.
Please note: Students in Elementary school are not allowed to have smartphones or smart watches unless they are medically necessary and there is documentation from a medical provider.
In the event that a child has a cell phone or smart watch, it will be taken to the office and the parent will be notified to come and pick it up.
