Hello and welcome to our website!  My name is Tracey Marino and I am the proud principal of Greenwood Elementary School.

I believe that a school should be a safe, uninterrupted haven where students can do their best learning and teachers can do their best teaching. As you visit the pages of our website, you will find many examples of sound learning and fine teaching.

Greenwood Elementary School is comprised of hardworking students and dedicated teachers who measure success not only in high-test scores, but also in lessons learned, problems solved, performances presented and projects completed.

Greenwood is also a place where relationships are valued. As a relative newcomer, I am continually impressed by the ease with which children connect to one another. Greenwood Elementary School is a place where children learn not only how to work, but how to play - together. From the classrooms to the library to the lunchroom, a collegial atmosphere infuses Greenwood Elementary School, further demonstrating that this is a school where children are ready to learn.
